I think the next currency in line for an explosive move is more likely to be gold. The yen should strengthen as will the RMB -- and these will be key future currencies to watch. The Chinese will let the RMB float up at a rate of between 5% and 7% a year, and so far much of that has been absorbed by shrinking profit margins. You are now going to see prices in the USA go up on the order of the shift in the currency -- i.e. we are going to see inflation in the 5% to 10% range for imported goods.
