Wow- what a great example of "you can't make these things up". I wonder if he thinks it's all been worth it. He's had a terrible year and it sounds as if he's not doing terribly well. I have really been preoccupied lately with thoughts about the elderly and how far should we go, how far CAN we go with the taxpayers footing the bills for so much, how hard we cling to life for ourselves and for our loved ones. I remember you and me talking about the Schaivo case and quality of life concerns, etc. Mostly your post left me concerned about Nick. Is he ok? (if that is too personal, ignore it, or PM me). Sick kids are the scariest thing ever, so I hope it was something simple.
