So how does this then play out in Canada, Europe and the industrialized parts of Asia with similar problems and strong currencies? Me thinks the world is pissed at GWB, Paulson and company for boxing them in..

"The pain and dislocation that is coming will be breathtaking, in response to a breathtakingly fraudulent and pervert monetary policies and socialism."

Hi Mike, I'm loving this discussion and am learning quite a lot. Here's where I have a question for you if you don't mind

I can't understand why you used the term "socialism" rather than capitalism. If you are in Canada perhaps you saw the documentary on CBC called Mortgage Meltdown? If so you would understand that socialism isn't the enemy, capitalism is. Predatory lending is not socialist practice. Witness the thousands of auctions going on across America right now where other predators (the rich) are bidding on the foreclosed homes of the poor who Wall Street (the original source of the scams) has robbed and cheated.

"Sunday's edition of The New York Times says of a recent house foreclosure auction in Irvine: "All that was missing was the preacher and the tent."
