"Your 'mega droughts' of the past may make the current drought puny by comparison. However, the level of damage the current drought can do seriously dwarfs the impact of past droughts." So....what you are saying is that climate changes must cooperate and be less severe now than they were in the past because the damage now will be worse than it was in the past.
