YEEEEHAW! and those idiots will talk about their tax cut, not knowing we are literally minting money for folks who will then turn around and pay me millions to show up and talk stupid in the private sector." personally, i lump the war spending into the budget. it had EVERYTHINg to do with bush' INCOMPETENCY. i don't give free passes for INCOMPETENCY. contrary to some, i also like to hold people accountable for their actions - but we've been down that road before and we never achieved resolution, so this won't be different. cutting spending growth isn't enough. i totally agree that clinton's "balanced budget" was entirely phony. in fact, it was never balanced - even when you include the stock option tax money and the social security money (the latter of which was out and out dishonest). if bush had gotten his way, billionaires whose $100s of millions of annual income came from capital gains would have had their taxes cut more than in half while the mcdonald's worker would've had his taxes cut maybe a few percentage points. is that the style of tax cut you favor? also, can you explain when trickle up economics makes more sense than trickle down economics?
