The cost doesn't bother you? It's a huge drag on economic productivity and is going to get much worse. Why should we pay double+ the rest of the world?

Right now, the cost of a college education worries me more. Even if my medical expenses went up 100%, it wouldn't bother me terribly except if I became unable to obtain insurance against catastrophic medical expenses before I'm old enough for Medicare.

I believe the higher cost of medical care in the U. S. is due to greater use of technology, either equipment or pharmaceuticals, and defensive medicine and malpractice insurance.

It's astounding that a capitalist such as yourself would advocate a government program in order to lower costs.
