Still... ya probably gotta admit that lowering the corporate tax rate (one of the higher in the industrialized world), and keeping that from adding to the federal deficits, keeping it 'revenue neutral' by eliminating corporate 'special tax preference items', loopholes which shouldn't be in the codes anyway as they represent the heavy hand of government tilting the economic field toward favored, well-connected entities... is a good thing, in and of itself. (Something Paulson himself recommended earlier this year....)
