I have seen no evidence that the madrassas even teach any kind of textual commentary or exegesis, just rote memorization. We consistently see a pattern of these Madrases being established and then a ripple of violence coming from their students in the surrounding area. The most recent example was a student who went home to become a bomber and accidentally blew up his family with him. The post I put up by Captain Ed pointed to the problem. We refuse to tell it like it is. We are at war with Militant Islamists and have to find and kill them where ever they are. By hiding this truth, we lose our best weapon against them.
