WLP, UNH, CAH - those recession proof stocks have not fared well very lately. WLP especially has been hit by rising medical cost. Still it seems to me that those stocks are valued fairly reasonable - at about 12x forward earnings. Also I am willing to guess that those earnings are much much safer than those of banks that are trading at around 10x earnings if one were to believe the forecasts.

So I am thinking about adding to WLP if it comes to it's lows as I think that those stocks should do OK in a tough economic climate (be it a recession or not).
