I'd prefer the government to give everyone 'access' to medical care... I'd prefer that people not have to worry about becoming destitute if they become extremely ill. Everyone has access to medical care today. First part done. Everyone has access to medical insurance that ensures the second part for all but the most extreme cases. Second part done. You didn't address the real point: "Would you prefer to give government the power to restrict your access to medical care?"
