Granted the items are not large. Except the folders suck and the way the stacks work could use some changes.

However, little things tend to add up. The one thing that really blew my mind in the Mullet book was the grid.

When I was at UCLA I had a professor who insisted on the grid. Coming from a fowl art background I did not understand the grid. I kept questioning him on it until he blew his stack.

Finally years later I read the Mullet book. It has an example of two windows, one using a grid the other not. Same information and buttons etc.

Its really amazing, the window using the grid is easy to understand and the non grid window is almost unusable. Little things like that, together multiply (not additive) the difficulties.

I'm trying to think... there was a graphic utility software for the Mac that did everything but was very difficult to learn mostly because of that. I forget.

Oh well, its my obsession.

Apple, even with faults, is heads above everyone else.
