Maybe you should enable parity. :-) Oh wait - there are error correction schemes which zdhwaaw iaw assa masmncd 98722 Reminds me late at night on an old old PDP-11 computer troubleshooting hardware - I popped out a bit column of memory chips and was still seeing the same contents, even though it was impossible - the memory was in my hands not in the computer - thought I was in the twilight zone until I remembered that the puter had super duper error correction so even though a line of bits was out it could still wait what was I talking about? Hey Apple ended at 187 today! Hit 189.37 at today's high! woo- hoo!
