Now as far as preventing them from getting it--we need to make it worth their while as we 'seemingly' did for NK. I'm sorry Nadine, although the mullahs are bad guys they do run a country and we shouldnt fixate on early days of the regime when they were in fact nuts, albeit nuts for a reason because ours and israels support for the shah.

You speak as if nobody has tried to negotiate. We have been trying for four years, in cooperation with the Europeans and the UN. The Iranians tap dance, make promises they later break, in short play for time.

I don't know what you are trying to show with your example of North Korea, we did a treaty with them, they broke their promises, and now they have nukes. You think this is a great example to follow?

You think the Iranians were nuts when this regime started? They sound even MORE nuts now. Khomeini and Khatami never claimed that miracles occurred when they gave a speech. Even the North Koreans don't come off as crazy-suicidal as the Mahdists. Remember Ahmedinijad spent the Iran-Iraq war training (if that's the word) boys as young as 12 to clear mine fields with their bare bodies. He gave them a plastic key to heaven to hang around their necks.
