re: IMH Midland: I have not said that IMH commn will pay a dividend. We are interested in the stock,not because of the dividend but the potential capital gain that happened during its recovery from the trough of last real-estate/mortgage cycle in 2001-2002.

Speaking of dividends....

Citigroup is indicated much lower on the opening. Chickens are coming home to roost. They may need to cut the dividend to get their capital up. So much for buying the bank stocks for their extraordinary dividend yields. Don't know how many times I've heard that in the last 2 months.
