I think we can all agree that we do not want overbearing government regulation.

We should all agree that we want the right amount of government regulation.

I think we all want government to regulate education so that we have a level playing feld. So that everyone has an equal chance to succeed. Its in our national interest.

Why should health care be any different?

Peter, I don't necessarily believe the government has to take this over totally. I would like to see progress on the 'obtainability' and 'insurability' fronts. If that could be done via the private sector with more government oversight so be it, be I simply feel strongly that significant change has to occur. So far the private sector hasn't done the job in my view...
