OT was there a voice over? Interestingly enough, I'm interested in the controversy, but the film itself never meant much to me. Seemed bland and most of the info seemed telegraphed. Vangelis is the wrong composer for that movie. I'm wondering if that is because it was the wrong version. I've never felt he was a great director. Alien is a great monster movie (however the kitty thing at the end was dopey). But his other output is spotty. Gladiator, was IMHO, a bomb. He knows how the nuts and bolts go together so if he has good material he executes well. allmovie.com
