Have had the pint but never the country, a serious deficiency. On the other hand I stayed at a pub in the Lake District in northern England and the bartender/owner had me sample a number of single malts that I'd never tasted after we talked about those that I had. Then when it came time to pay he said the drinks were on the house. Never had that happen to me anywhere else in the world. We were both pretty stiff by the end of the evening. As usual my uncle's advice on drinking and hangovers proved true, keep to quality stuff and the next day take a glass of water. No hangover.
