Thanks - I'll probably try to assemble a starter position there. I'm getting nervous that so many of my bank shorts have fallen so far that I might need to rotate into some others that aren't as far along.

Are you familiar with what usually triggers regulatory action against somebody like WAL? Where the short's friend is the creditor in the case of most stocks, isn't the regulator the one that usually pulls the plug on a bank? I'm wondering how impaired the balance sheets of DSL IMB CORS etc. have to become before they are taken out.
