After thinking about it for a long time i came to the conclusion that yes, we are plunging into a massive deflation, actually 4 kinds of deflation:

- deflation of living standards
- deflation of purchasing power of Bernanke's confetti
- deflation of purchasing power of American labor
- deflation of purchasing power of American's savings

'You mean we are not plunging into deflation! Yikes :)'

Those who believe in the 'deflation' mantra are the biggest suckers of all. Please, all we need is another short cycle of that evil deflation and 1% fed funds with 3% long term treasuries to get MJ's new upward revisions for oil and gold to actually be likely. Even the housing bubblehead's of 2005 would come out way ahead on the back end<g>
