I didnt say ones residence makes anyones opinion less important. I was just putting those opinions in context depending on which side of the pond one was on. Do you disagree that your opinions if more in line with general european thought than that of the average american living in the US? The view in europe is that americans are less sophisticated, overly religious, more prone to violence etc. The view in europe is also far more sympathetic to palestians than it is here. That was my point with hinton because he was trying to say that american opinion was changing and i was saying american opinion on the middle east maybe changing among the expat community but support for israel here is about asa strong as always.
