Peter, I realize Enron was only 'part' of the electricity price problem in CA, but it's an example of 'free markets' run rampant. Suffice it to say we have differing views on healthcare, I see it as more of a 'right' than you do, and therefore I just don't think the arguments about food, auto insurance, and all the rest apply. I suppose filthy rich folks could also make your 'dependent' argument - why should they pay more taxes than the poor and middle class??? As I said, I think some will have to make more sacrifices to help the rest IMO... Best regards, John
