I think you missed my point. The 4 million Palestinians are those from the West Bank and Gaza. The assumption was that the West Bank was, in the future, occupied by Israel, a scenario that is the basis of option 4 in my original post. This scenario has nothing to do with Syria. It has to do with what does one do with 2.5 million Palestinians from the West Bank which after being swallowed by Israel.

Yeah, I missed your point. You're talking about Israel occupying the entire WB and somehow forcibly moving the millions of people who live there into Gaza. Yup, that whole process sounds like a big disaster.

My point, which is based on reality today and not some fantastical theoretical scenario #4, is that Gaza, as it is populated today, would make a fine Gazastan nation for the Palestinian people who currently reside there if they would only pursue that objective.
