Oral read an article one time about colonial times and how they cooked ouside. He decided to have an outside kitchen, and converted his inside kitchen into a rec room.

The reason for that is two fold, I like being outside and not heating up the kitchen and my new house has this whiz bang hi tech POS 36" electric range top. This thing senses when your pan may becoming hot enough to scorch and shuts down the heat to regulate the heating process. This makes boiling a pot of water for instance a 30 minute ordeal. I cook because I enjoy it and find it relaxing. Spending 30 minutes swearing at this range top is not relaxing. So I go outside on my gas burner which lets me decide when a pan is hot enough or not.

My new 6 burner gas range top goes in next week by the way then I can cook inside again:)
