"at some point peace can be their objective. For example, lets say a treaty is signed and violence becomes rare. Lets further assume that things get better for Pals and they use the money they get wisely and prosper. Lets say relations get better between israelis and arabs. Even with all of this, they will continue to celebrate the terrorists who they view as freedom fighters. Arafat will get a national holiday and pals will celebrate it at the new state of the art Bethlehem Mall. I can live with that."

Unwinding decades of propaganda would take a Hurculean effort. I hope that at some point in the near future Arab Israelis can accept that peace and prosperity are preferable to hate and poverty.
