China's comparative advantage is not just limited to low wages and large labor pool. China is now enjoying increasing economies of scale. Not just the scale of their individual factories and firms, but the scale of their entire industry. Having so many manufacturers in one location doing different things leads to increased efficiency.

In deflation, the dollar in your pocket would buy more today than it did yesterday -- and it would buy more tomorrow than it will today -- i.e. you would see prices in dollars going down, down, down.
