True and generally agreed John.

I both hope and don't think that Russia is stupid enough to make it so tough on the Euro area that it could get the war machines going. Enough people getting cold and/or hungry would do that.

The Euro area is already in trouble too. The yield curve has been inverted for 11 weeks running, GDP has been trending down since early 2007, and their media isn't talking about it the problems much... but more than the US media. My best guess is that they'll follow us into recession within 6 months or so.
