I dont think he will answer. The left views palestine and gaza as it once did folks on welfare. Folks there are viewed as unable to lift themselves out of poverty and violence. What Gaza needs is Rudy as mayor for awhile.

Usually it's best if one presents facts that don't support a particular idea in order to get the person who believes in the unsupported idea to leave it alone to die a quiet death. That didn't work for you. So the answer is no, the population density and the amputation from the Palestinian majority on the West Bank would make a viable state close to impossible. A viable state could be built if Gaza is given up for land that is contiguous with the West Bank and that the West Bank be de-balkanized. If the ultimate goal is to remove the Palestinians from the area one way or another then creating an independent Gaza state would be a continuation of present Israeli policies to balkanize and occupy the area. At some point Gaza would explode and Israel would go in and take over.
