Yep, I'm definitely happy that Leopard wasn't the problem. Your experience parallels mine in many ways. While pyslent had a great experience at the Apple store, mine was more along the lines of 'your screwed unless you pay us more money.' That's OK, Apple had no obligation to support me and they didn't. When it was all said and done, I got my laptop working and Leopard is working fine for a .0 release... now, where's 10.5.1? ;-)
