True, organized crime is much worse in modern Russia than anywhere in the World, and that makes it absolutely impossible to do any business there. The killers are former KGB professionals, so they will track you down and kill you if they really want to. "The oligarkh" is a great movie about Berezovsky and modern Russia. I guess the populace believes Putin can do something about it as a former KGB chief, but I guess he contributed a lot more to the problem rather than the solution of the problem. Now the government is the organized crime. -g-
