Being a Republican isn't a sin. It's a delight!! hahahahaha It is a matter of education in many fields other than ... ""oooohhhhhh we're sorry but we just have to take your hard earned money to support your non-working neighbors and bring all the troops home safely, dearie""". We have two people here in our area running for fiscal officer. We have a sign in our yard for one. He has nothing to say against his opponent, but everything to say for the community. His opponent is a lady who has served in this position 32 years with no complaints or legal bad mouthing... nothing wrong... her statement for staying is that she has done it with honor and integrity and caring. ""I want to serve one more term --- it's difficult to phase out of a position you've held, thanks to the voters, for so long. I feel like I need one more term to be able to do it gracefully!!""" Please... give me a break. One person has the energy to employ his talents, the other person has been good but wants to have the term so she can retire gracefully!! I can't stand that me me me stuff!! We also have one person running for the Board of Education who says: "" My wish is to strongly promote bi-lingual language for all grades""" etc.. He lost my vote right there. I can't believe some of this stuff and nonsense. LOL - it is so much fun to read... incredible fantasy world of politics :)
