My posts weren't removed because they didn't violate SI's TOU and the stated thread policies about not being personally abusive. If you think that is "losing it" then you don't understand the TOU and thread moderation.

Seems right to me. This thread has a long history which we don't let folks disrupt. Also, this is a stock thread. SI is very good about not letting political abuse disrupt stock boards.

The folks who can't accept that have thousands of other threads to post their opinions on.

It seems that so many people are accustomed to abusive political boards that they have forgotten SI's Terms of Use. The key paragraph is that SI will NOT be used:

"for the transmission of material that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortuous ("tortious" or whatever -- you know what we mean), improper or otherwise objectionable."


If SI took a zero-tolerance policy on posts that do just that, this issue would never come up again.
