The DC traffic in DC itself scared me to death, and I only rode in taxi's there.....some of those guys are just plain nuts! ESPECIALLY if they are in a hurry to get the next fares before they all go away after an event at a Conference gets finished... One guy four of us were with scared ALL of us to bits....in and out of alleys' and all around traffic during rush hour.....We all just sat still for about 15 seconds when he finally landed to wherever we were going. Silent prayers of thanksgiving, I think. <g>
