Tommaso, you are probably going to laff at my response, but I've been using the local Indian Casino's Cashiers' Cage here in the USA NW states as my Canadian Bank, and playing the currency appreciation game by swapping my devalued bucko for Candos for about 2.5 years now.

Have made a bit over 20% on my cash instead of putting it into a money market fund this way...and it doesn't look like the Cando is finished going up yet.

Had a buddy put me onto this idea and I've never regretted it.

May I ask where? What bank?

I'm using Everbank and FXC, both of which dont pay market interest.

Would be grateful to find a Canadian bank to work with, the ones I have talked to require that you have a Canadian Social Sec number.
