Oh what a difference a decade makes. And, this was extraordinarily more complex than the burgeoning computer industry of just ten years earlier.

If Jobs had been at Apple during the Newton's development, it either would have never happened, or the hand writing recognition would have been much further along before it was released. No matter, the project itself was a giant leap in the right direction, just a tad too early for pocket sized computers.

I'm still waiting for the wearable craze to take off. Remember the visionary promises? Mission Impossible sunglasses that self destruct. I've seen the glasses, but where's the computer and interface?

Thanks for the information about the ARM investment. I had heard bits and pieces about it the whole time. Just never knew the full story.
