The Advanced Light Rail from the World's Fair in Vancouver BC seems to be thriving...and we rode on all three systems they had during that fair.... Why the nutty King County Council members don't look serious at this plan is beyond me. They are talking of the taxpayers paying over 157 BILLION dollars over 50 years to build a Light Rail system that just goes North and South, but nothing to the East of Seattle, where the growth is occurring. The Canadian system cost nothing like what they are thinking we should pass here, and the Canadian system takes in MUCH more territory for potential passengers..... en.wikipedia.org
