my dear fellow snowshoe, the pirates, like cockroaches and other insects, have outlasted all past empires, as the insects outlasted dinosaurs and such, and will outlast all empires of now and of the future.

i believe they had pirates in the movie star wars.

the multipolar world is working, with the usa going out there, making enemies and getting messed up, and all other poles watching, deciding how much slack to cut the usa and how much funding the usa deserves.

the usa goes out there to fight for the flow of oil, so china can get at it, but not too much, so russia can also benefit, and as the usa is busy, russia and china gets to squeeze japan and love tap europe, one via energy and the other through unbalanced trade.

the pirates? who cares, as the biggest pirate tried to loot mesopotamia and got bogged down.

advice: best to put up a good show in the clash of civilizations, else no slacks cut and all fundings cut.

comment: whatever the mess, the electorates asked for it, and in fact begged for it, and so will get it, and hard.

chugs, tj
