Good points, but I totally disagree that GOOG will have any impact on the wireless model. They are trying to get an entry level phone with someone like S that is struggling with content. I can't even get sports scores from yahoo on my cell phone via yahoo, so I went to espn. Seems weird that yahoo sports doesn't provide sport score updates.

Anyways, I see no redeeming value to most of the big internet projects like you tube on my cell phone anyways. It drains too much juice. The only thing I will waste cell phone time for would be real time stock quotes or sports scores. I would love to see GOOG come out with a GPS phone, but I wonder if they have the software for that.

I don't see any difference between GOOG and any other cell phone right now that Sprint offers. I liked the new LG phone that is coming in next week. That looks pretty cool.

IMO, GOOG has alot more execution risk than apple because they have never made a single consumer good. Not that I'm blowing sunshine up Apple's rear, which I often like to do. I think the cell phone industry is going to look a helluva lot more interesting next year when they have all the new models out. I think it will really be the first year of the wireless revolution. Even the carriers may be able to show significant progress as companies like VZ pay off all their long term debt. That will make them look a lot better than C with a 6% yield. Imagine VZ with a 4.5% yield and no debt.
