I just returned from a 17 day vacation. I read virtually no news and only checked PoG and the value of my PF on my BlackBerry.

In looking over my screen this morning one thing jumped out. BONDS. WTF? Long yields are plunging. oil and gold are soaring

I asked Heinz about it in an email this morning. His reply:

imo this is because the bond market looks beyond this inflation, which is primarily a credit inflation as opposed to a money inflation (credit outstanding keeps soaring vs. currency outstanding). the bond market suspects that the credit inflation will end in a credit deflation, and i share that suspicion.
