Yeah, sorry about that post edit! After I thought about it I realized there might be a few readers here who spend their entire lives chasing money, and saw no reason to offend them. It's just a lifestyle choice. No one had responded yet so I figured it was safe.

I am both amused and saddened by all the people who think more money will make them happy. It doesn't work that way. It is true that a certain amount of money will keep you from being miserable from lack of food, shelter, medical care, etc but happiness is a state of mind, not a financial condition.
