I rode in a guy's Honda Civic Hybrid on Friday. I was not impressed. It was cramped, and he said that the mileage really isn't all that great.

It's really about folks being able to say, "see, look at me. I'm green and have a hybrid car to prove it."

I'll stick with my Tyranasauraus Rex Carbon Footprint of the Chevy Suburban.

They sure don't make them like they used to that's for sure.

A friend has a 100 mile round trip commute and so bought a 1988 Toyota Tercel for $500. He claims he was getting around 45 mpg on the highway with it.

Then his daughter moved back home destitute and killed it.
