I delivered pizza for Frankos, on Bryn Mawr right next to the el. Lived upstairs in one room, bathroom down the hall, hot plate for cooking, dishes in the shower. Spent the day in back fixing my 74 MGB so it was ready for delivery. I still have the car, which is on my list to restore in the next couple of years. Later lived on Jarvis right on the lake in a couple of condos I rehabbed, and now in Evanston. Rogers park/Lakeview can be a little rough-that's part of the charm and excitement of the city. There are lots of worse places. Only got mugged once. ARS
