Need to understand where we came from, see where we are, and, plot where we are going to land. My point is, the landing was plot in the eighties, and it as amazing it had cruised so far to reach where we are now... The roots of the calamity was planted in the 70's... The US was very close to having a balance of trade in 1991 and until 1998 the trade deficit was mild (especially in relation to GDP.)
