Given time I would assume the POG in US$ will surpass the increases in the Canadian dollar. So, even though Canadian miners are facing currency difficulties I still see the rise in the POG as very positive.

I concentrate primarily in explorers as no matter what, running a mining operation is difficult and prone to all manner of problems, very few actual miners I would want to own.

I suppose that means they would buy Canadian dollar futures in like amount to (a portion of ) their expected US dollar revenue.... If the C$ goes up so does the futures they bought.

Upon reflection, it seems to me that is a standard practise, isn't it ?
