Pierce is a recognized leader in helping businesses and municipalities set and meet greenhouse gas targets, while saving money along the way. As part of his assessment for Willits, Pierce needed a target from the city before he could begin his work. The Willits City Council set a target goal of 90 percent reduction in GHG by the year 2050.
