I only meant to imply that it is a complex situation. We know, at least some of us do, that The Al-Mahdis are completely integrated into the government of Iraq. They are known for their ability to quietly assume power under a veil of invisibility. We know that they have their own agenda that is counter to western style democracy. I suspect the Taliban is developing the same type of thing in Pakistan.

Are all the lawyers secretly Taleban? I doubt it. Are Taleban operatives infiltrating legit government positions and positions of influence in Pakistan? Why would they not be?

We know the dynamics have turned against Musharraf and that the biggest threat is from the frontier with sympathizers in the urban sector.
