What we NEED, the "medicine", is rate HIKES to make our bonds worth buying and the dollar worth holding.

There's another way out.......sell outselves of it thanks to the lower dollar. It would mean sending American products around the world and foreigners buying up our landmarks.......of course, they won't move on them until after Bush is out of office.
