nothing about policy. Battered financial stocks finding some bargain hunters.
But traders still nervous more financial derivatives problems will arise, won't
go away for while. Looking for signs economy suffering from it. NYSE breadth
17-14 positive. NASDAQ breadth 15-13 negative. Trading sluggish. Analysts see
any rally short lived. Oil futures at record highs, gold futures spurted to
28-year highs as dollar fell to record low. GOOG and oil stocks up.
