Let them blow the money for a wireless buildout at any spectrum. I can't see Verizon or Sprint doing anything to do anything to damage their 3G models. I really can't see the wireless carriers spending any significant capex for GOOG at 700 MHz. I can't see this as anything but a game of liar's poker for GOOG, so they can save face and say they are doing something with Linux OS for wireless. The only real question is who will get the cap ex spending from the additional buildout for the 700 Mhz - Nortel, Lucent, Motorola?
