How seriously was your daughter injured? I don't recall you saying anything about her at the time. I hope she's doing well by now.

Both my kids were in the car. My eldest driving, the younger one in the back seat.

Amazingly, the young one was not hurt at all. The older sustained some soft tissue damage and has had issues requiring physical and/or massage therapy.

Luckily, the other car dove under the bumper. My theory is that the force of the impact tended to lift the car rather than bash the back in.

I estimate the bozo driving the other car was driving 30 mph. No skid marks. She didn't even apply the brakes. If it'd been me on my motorcycle she'd hit, I'd have been stretched out on the slab at the morgue.
