And we do have stock markets hitting highs. Quite strange.... It is strange. The argument can be made that the falling dollar is good for US multinational business... to a point. Still the double whammy of gas prices and the low dollar are sapping wealth from the US and if China starts dumping bonds then the interest rates have to go way up. So the domestic side of business has to be on shaky ground.
